Major Job Responsibilities:
Overall project management of new product launching in production sites.
Manage a cross-functional team to drive new product introduction from Program Start into Manufacturing to meet volume, quality and cost targets.
Coordinate program activities with our contract manufacturer to provide in-depth DFM, proto and pilot build execution, reliability testing, and manufacturing readiness.
Lead proto and pilot build request definition & consolidate from whole program team, focus on build execution and build issues’ follow-up.
Lead engineering team and manufacture site NPI to ensure MFG readiness. i.e.: test system, tool, fixture & jig, process. Etc.
Develop, implement and continuously improve NPI Processes to incorporate discipline key to achieving a successful launch.
Provide strong leadership to identify program risks and propose solutions to mitigate impact.
Track NPI budget and manufacture NRE cost, line utilization and so on to ensure we meet program targets
Strong leader with 8+ years’ experience in Program Management role.
With leadership to drive manufacture site member complete every activity.
Comprehensive knowledge of project management principles, practices and procedures, as well as internal policies and procedures
A strong team player and is highly self-motivated and willing to take ownership.
Experience working in electronic Industry; mobile product experience preferred
Engineering degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university.
Good understanding of product development processes, particularly for mobile high-technology products.
Strong focus on schedules critical-to-quality and critical-to-launch.
Closely coordinate development and launch activities between CM internal and manufacture, supplier teams to ensure availability of support.
Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills and be able to effectively communicate with external and internal "customers" and "partners".
Engineering process experience (design practices, design reviews, OEM/ODM manufacture knowledge, SMT, Production test and assembly. etc)
Knowledge and appreciation in dealing with EMS manufacturers and suppliers (business practices, cultural differences, travel, etc.)
